"Canopy of Stars"
"Canopy of Stars" is a haunting instrumental lullaby, filled with a sense of mystery and awe. It's the first fully-developed piece that came out of a series of exploratory sessions that Graeme managed to squeeze in during his daughter’s first year of life. Most of the soft, piano-driven pieces Cabin Fever Orchestra will be releasing in 2021 were written during afternoon naps and the mood of "Canopy of Stars" certainly reflects that. It's a dreamlike soundscape that feels like the place we all go to between our waking life and true sleep. It’s that semi-conscious state just before we drift off.
